Mercy Douglass Hospital

As an 11th and 12th grade English teacher-researcher at Science Leadership Academy at Beeber, Bonnee Breese-Bentrum, EdD, worked with student-researchers to uncover the erased history of Mercy Douglass Hospital, which was a black owned and operated hospital in West Philadelphia at 50th and Woodland Streets in the southwest section of the city. Student-researchers created AI-generated images and poems.
